I always had a feeling that this baby planned to be pretty much on time. Turned out I was right. I started early labor on his Due Date, August 3rd. We had a family get together that day, and had fun eating haystacks, playing with sidewalk chalk, and playing cornhole in the driveway. I tried to keep up with all the activities, and I think that helped move things along. By that evening around 10:30, I was inconsistent contractions about 15 minutes apart. Sunday morning I woke up around 2:30 with consistent contractions that were 10 minutes apart. I was feeling them mostly in my back, and so I got up and laid on the couch to be more comfortable. I was awake for a few hours, and texted Mindy at 4:30am (she was up to head to the airport) to let her know what was happening. I fell asleep around 5:30 and then woke up again around 7:00. By that time contractions were 8 minutes apart. I found an app that helped to time contractions, and used that the rest of the day. I still did plenty during the day. Mom and I went on a few walks, and I even walked on the treadmill. At 1:10, we headed to our local movie theatre to see Two Guns. Mindy, Jeff, Nick, my Mom and I all went. During the movie I was timing contractions on my phone. They were still about 7-8 minutes apart. As we got later into the after, the contractions got stronger (still all in my back) and closer together. About 6:30 to 7:00 they were anywhere from 3.5 to 5.5 minutes apart. It was time to head to the hospital! We left for OHSU around 7:45pm.

Right before we left for the hospital!
Walking the baby out :)
